IT IS A HUGE FAT TIGER WITH BLACK SPOTS ALL OVER ITS BODY.
The tiger entered into a house of to kill and eat its owner, Mr. Behara,, but incidentally stood infront of the mirror in the house and in the mean time Mr. Behara fled away.
The tiger became furious on seeing the black spots and thinking of how it could get rid of those spots, entered into the husking-pedal-shed where Mr. Behari's daughter , Puntu was pressing the pedal.The tiger making its whiskers upright with rage , told her , "Give me one Glycerine-soap".
Puntu replied , " What did you say? I never heard of such thing in my life.I do not even know English or any such language ; I am a wretched low-cast ,Sir!"
The tiger became even more angry on her , " You are lying to me ! Do you think I can not see? How does your black spots vanish then, if you do not use glycerine-soap?"
Puntu told , " I am a pretty dark girl and never used it.You are making me laugh!I am not the aunt of a Memshahib( White woman)!"
The tiger became furious with her ," You shameless girl , lying before me !I will chew your bones and joints."
Puntu covered her face with awe ," Fie! Do not say again please! Even to think of it is a sin for me! Do not you know that I am an untouchable and a disciple of Mr.Gandhi?Are not aware of being degraded to low-cast , in case you eat my flesh?Please , Sir, do not be angry for God's sake , you should not touch , I am pleading by touching your feet.........."
The tiger retreated back quickly , " Do not touch ! Fie! Fie! Oh Ram! Oh Ram! I will be fallen before my neighbours of tigers' colony.I have number of daughters like you in my house.If I touch you, then for sure , the Goddess Bagha-Chandi ( The Goddess of tigers) would be angry and none of my daughters would be able to get married.Forget it , I do not need any Glycerine soap."
i) The black spots of apartheid cannot be removed.
ii) The younger girl is innocent and have no black-spots.
iii) Hindu apartheid is potentially more violent and ferocious than even the bestial ferocity of an carnivorous animal.
iv) The root has spread so deep that unless we separate the innocent generation , it cannot be avoided.
v) That is why Buddha proposed a new religion not a reformation , so was done by Raja Ram Mohan Ray i.e. Brahmoism .Incidentally this is the prose version of R.N.Tagore's rhyme " There was a Tiger " written in his old age for the Children , the name of the Book , " Chitra-Bichitra".
vi) R.N.Tagor had also had to suffer some of the bitter music of Hindu Apartheid in his personal life.Any one can infer how much each day people are suffering.
